After enjoying several years of Wild Notes’ colorful and energetic accompaniments in our Christmas and Sacred Celtic concert series, CitySingers will be their guests in performance. In a program of acoustic music rooted in traditional Celtic, Jazz and Classical music, CitySingers will add the sounds of vocal ensemble to innovative instrumental arrangements. Wild Notes is known for intricate yet melodic interweaving of the fiddle and concertina, which float above resonating harp arpeggios and rhythmic acoustic guitar and bass. CitySingers will bring sweet vocal harmonies to original arrangements of American folk Songs, Irish ballads, and Scottish laments which will surely find a place in your heart.
