CitySingers of Hartford

Established in 1982, CitySingers of Hartford began as a small but enthusiastic group of friends who shared a common love of singing. Today, the group consists of approximately 20 members with a variety of professional and musical backgrounds, and offers a wide repertoire encompassing a capella and accompanied works of various styles, periods and cultures.

Suzanne Gates, CitySingers Artistic Director since 1984, leads the group – which often performs in collaborative efforts with instrumental soloists and ensembles, and with dramatic interpretations offered by actors and dancers.
