Sean Rahusen

Sean is a Tenor based in Hebron, Connecticut. He has performed with CitySingers of Hartford for the past two seasons and is excited to be a part of the inaugural performance of SolUnity.  Over the past decade, he has spent time teaching and performing with many choral and instrumental ensembles throughout Connecticut, in New York City, and in Boulder, Colorado.

 

Sean received his Bachelor of Science in Acoustical Engineering from the University of Hartford. Among the many ensembles he performed with, he sang with the Hartt School Chamber Choir for two years.  He also directed, sang, and was a vocal percussionist with L’Shir, the school’s oldest A Cappella ensemble. He attended the University of Colorado where he received his Master of Music Education degree. Sean now works as the instrumental music teacher at Hebron Elementary School.

 

When not teaching or performing, Sean enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, and spending time with his four dogs.
