The SolUnity Singers
Celebrating the Singer's Unique Voice
The SolUnity Singers is CitySingers' newest performing ensemble, comprised of professional singers capable of singing solo repertoire and unifying into one resonant pulse.
Who we are...
"Solo" and "Unity" perfectly describe SolUnity's mission. Imagine a choral experience where every singer's diverse voice can shine and also seamlessly blend into homogenous beauty. Where dynamics and style do not come at the expense of hiding the singer's voice, but rather engaging with it. SolUnity is the singing ensemble for the solo vocalist.
Artistic Director, Jeff Cregeur, leads 11 unique voices in a redefinition of the classic choral concert. As a classically trained singer, he puts vocal efficiency at the forefront of every artistic choice, giving SolUnity's sound power and finesse. This season, SolUnity joins CitySingers' Community Ensemble on the MIND and BODY performances, and renders the full program on SOUL.
